La settimana scorsa (08.10.2011) si è spento Dennis Ritchie uno dei padri dell’informatica moderna, creatore del linguaggio C e sviluppatore di Unix. La notizia è passata in sordina, anche perchè oscurata dall’improvvisa mancanza di Steve Jobs, ex manager di Apple. Ritchie a differenza di Jobs ha dato un contributo fondamentale per lo sviluppo dell’informatica, tanto che i sistemi di Apple e Linux derivano dal vecchio, ma sempre giovane, Unix creato nel 1969.
